Pete Treyve, PGA
Head Golf Professional
Mr. Pete Treyve comes to Silverado from Troon Golf’s signature property, Troon North in Scottsdale, Arizona. Pete was the First Assistant Golf Professional and served a prominent role in the oversight of the entire golf operation including Tournament, Retail, and Instruction. Pete is an accomplished player, instructor and club fitter who has been continually recognized for his customer service skills.
 
Before Troon North, Pete worked at Marriott Golf’s Camelback Resort. This 36-hole Five Star Golf Resort hosted 50,000 rounds of golf annually and had over 200 members. Pete was responsible for all member events and served as the member liaison for the golf operation. He was also responsible for the oversight of the golf service team and was recognized often for his leadership and management of the operations team.
 
Pete is a John Jacobs Certified Instructor and has been trained in the Kinetic Golf Program. He has been a member of the PGA since January 2007.

Tara Fox Lipanovich, LPGA
Teaching Professional
Tara Lipanovich, maiden name Tara Fox, is our first LPGA teaching professional at Silverado.  She has a total of sixteen years teaching experience and twenty-six years playing golf.  Tara is an LPGA Class A Certified Teaching Professional and has taught at several golf courses in the Napa Valley including Napa Valley Country Club and Napa Golf Course.
  
In 1995, Tara was the first woman recruited to play on scholarship for the University of California at Berkeley Women's Golf Team.  Today, she teaches all ages and levels of golfers. 

Tara is also a Titleist Performance Institute "Level 3 certified" Golf Instructor  specializing in junior golf instruction.  She founded the Napa Valley Junior Golf Academy and now runs the Silverado Junior Golf Academy which is an extensive junior golf program in the Napa Valley.

Brian Schaffer, PGA
First Assistant Professional
 

Mr. Brian Schaffer comes to Silverado from Troon Golf’s BallenIles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  Previous to BallenIles, Brian worked as a first assistant golf professional.  He assisted managing the entire golf operation including tournaments, retail and golf instruction, at Shackamaxon Golf and Country Club in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.  

 

Brian Graduated from Methodist University with a degree in Professional Golf Management.  After graduation, he moved to Atlanta acquiring a position at the Golf Club of Georgia as an assistant golf professional.  The Golf Club of Georgia hosts the United States Collegiate Championship, the Georgia Cup and has over 600 members.  

 

Brian became a member of the PGA of America in 2007 and is “Class A” Certified.
